You do not have to choose a subscription just to avoid a tracker account. Euki says its app has no paywalls, and its privacy FAQ says it requires no accounts or email and has no backend or cloud data servers.[15][17] lilCycles also has no app account or cloud sync, with period, mood and strength-session logging.[57]

This is lilMONSTER's blog; we make lilCycles. It is a maker-written comparison, not an independent review. We checked Euki's website, features and privacy FAQ on 19 October 2026. We did not install Euki or independently audit its storage.

The common ground matters

QuestionlilCyclesEuki
Do I need an app account?No.[57]Its FAQ says no accounts or email requirement.[17]
Does it use app cloud sync?No cloud sync; app data stays on-device.[57]Its FAQ says no backend/cloud data servers and offline use after download/update.[17]
What is the focus?Period, mood and strength-session records with wellness phase guidance.[57]Period predictions, symptoms and sexual-health information are documented.[16]
How do paid features affect the choice?Plus subscriptions are available.[57]The publisher says there are no paywalls.[15]

Those similarities rule out a simple "private versus not private" sales story. Euki is a genuine alternative when no account and no paywall are firm requirements.[15][17] We do not suggest that paying for lilCycles is necessary to achieve them.

Education and daily records

Euki documents sexual-health resources, medication reminders, symptom tracking and cycle summaries, alongside optional PIN protection and deletion controls.[16] Those may be more useful to you than a training-related record. Its publisher says the project is managed by an independent nonprofit.[15] That is its stated organizational model, not an independent audit by us.

lilCycles brings strength-session records into its period-and-mood workflow and runs on iOS and Apple Watch.[57] Consider it if that combination is what you want to maintain. It does not establish that a workout recommendation improves performance or treats a symptom; its phase guidance is wellness information labelled "not medical advice".[57]

Plan recovery before you enter years of history

Euki's FAQ says deleting the app deletes entered data and that a forgotten PIN cannot be recovered.[17] We did not establish a cross-device recovery route. That is a question to investigate, not a claim that a currently undocumented feature cannot exist.

lilCycles provides an encrypted backup/export archive using AES-GCM-256 and PBKDF2.[57] Decide where an exported archive will live and how you will keep access to it. An archive is a separate sensitive copy, not automatic app cloud sync.

Deletion boundaries also differ by destination. lilCycles' "Delete all local data" does not remove samples already written to Apple Health; its HealthKit integration is write-only.[57] Do not assume clearing one app removes every copy elsewhere.

Optional AI is not a reason you must switch

lilCycles can produce optional summaries on-device where Apple Intelligence is available or through your own local model server; the payload is redacted and previewed before sending, and the app works fully without AI.[57] We have not established an equivalent Euki model-server feature and do not treat that evidence gap as a deficiency.

Choose Euki if its documented free, local tracking and sexual-health resources meet your needs.[15][16][17]

Consider lilCycles if its period, mood and strength-session combination and encrypted archives address a specific requirement.[57]

Does account-free mean risk-free?

No. An account model alone does not establish device security, backup safety or protection from someone with physical access. This article compares documented boundaries, not a universal privacy ranking.

Can lilCycles be used as contraception?

No. It is an 18+ wellness tracker, not contraception or medical advice.[57] Seek qualified care for symptoms, diagnosis or contraceptive choices rather than treating a prediction as a clinical decision.
